Our Outreach
**HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT **A friend of mine from church — someone who’s always helping others — came to serve at our outreach… and I had no idea he was homeless. Even with nothing, he gave his all and inspired others to do the same.
His story inspired us to act — and now, with a reliable car, he can continue making a difference in the lives of everyone he touches.

Here at Recycle4Hope we believe in helping our neighbors in their hardest times, educating ourselves on how to best impact our communities and doing it all with kindness. Did you know that September is Hunger Action Month? Due to COVID-19, many families have found themselves facing food insecurity and persons experiencing homelessness have not been able to access their regular resources for food. In honor of National Food Bank day, R4H has donated to our local food bank! We encourage everyone, no matter what it is, buy a little extra next grocery trip and take it to their local food bank!
On August 29th, Recycle4Hope and Zion Baptist church had the privilege of handing out 100 care packages in Jersey City. Huge shoutout to the 30 volunteers that helped make this possible! On December 14th 2019 Recycle4hope had the pleasure of distributing 180 care packages in NYC. We had 48 amazing volunteers that sacrificed their Saturday to serve those in need with us. We cannot thank everyone enough for spending their time, energy, and money to make this possible. Your support and prayers shifted the course of these lives and brought hope to people who needed it the most. #RestoringHopeOneBottleAtATime #Love #Hope #homelesslivesmatter
This is Darius. We had the chance to give him a care package and tell him that he is alive because God has a purpose and plan for his life. Darius is a war veteran who has watched men die right before his eyes. He was emotional as he talked about how some of the friends he made while he was homeless saved his life when he thought his life was not worth living. He reminded us that when you have no home, the people around you become like family. we believe that we are all part of a family and it’s our job to help lift each other up.
This is Debbie. She seemed discouraged when we approached her. She explained to us that her husband was recently admitted to the hospital. We told her that God still cares about her and has not forgotten her. With tears she responded that she really needed to hear that... Those words touched her heart and she left hopeful for what was coming. One simple act of kindness can change the course of someone's life. Donate to Recycle4Hope today and help us make an even bigger impact! Link in bio! #hope #love #recycle #youmatter #kindness #impact
Thanks to everyone that collected bottles, helped turn them in,spent time, and took long drives... We were able to create 45 CARE PACKAGES to give out to the homeless. We’ve collected over 7,000 bottles so far!! Our mission is to collect as many water bottles as possible to swap in for cash. We are using this money to buy supplies to give out to the less fortunate! Please collect your bottles for us and help make a difference in someone’s life! #everybottlecounts #changelives #trashistreasure
